Know Before You Go
Important Information & Terms & Conditions
- Please arrive at Explorer’s HQ at least 15 minutes before the scheduled expedition time. Late arrivals will be considered a No-show and will not be entitled to any refund.
- Guests (or a parent/legal guardian) are required to sign a waiver form before participating in the expedition.
- General admission to SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is required separately and is not included in the expedition ticket price.
Change & Refund Policy
- This ticket is non-refundable. No-shows will be charged at full price and are not eligible for refunds.
- Reservation changes for date or time may be requested up to 48 hours before the scheduled booking
- All changes remain subject to availability.
Participation Requirements
- No prior scuba diving experience, training, certification, or knowledge is required for this expedition.
- Guests must be at least 10 years old to participate.
- Guests aged 10 to under 16 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult aged 18 years or older who is also participating in the expedition.
- Guests aged 16 to under 18 years old may participate without an accompanying adult if a parent or guardian aged 18+ signs the required waiver.
- This is not a private experience. Guests will participate in a shared group experience with a maximum of 4 participants. Capacity restrictions may change at management discretion.
- Guests are required to bring their own bathing suit/swimwear.
- Wetsuits must be worn during the expedition.
- Entry is subject to completing and signing a PADI Medical Questionnaire, PADI Waiver, and Miral Liability & Release Waiver prior to participation.
Health & Safety Restrictions
- Guests must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or prohibited substances and should avoid alcohol consumption for at least 12 hours before participation.
- Guests should not fly or ascend above 300 meters / 1,000 feet within 12 hours after the expedition.
- Eyeglasses are permitted before the dive; however, sunglasses are not allowed (transition lenses acceptable). Glasses cannot be worn during the dive itself. Guests requiring prescription masks must provide their own.
- Participants must be able to read and understand English instructions and follow all directions provided by the instructor and dive team.
- This expedition is not suitable for guests who have a fear of marine life including fish, rays, or sharks.
- This expedition is not suitable for guests uncomfortable with deep water or placing their face in saltwater.
- Guests with certain physical or medical conditions may not be permitted to participate unless written medical approval is provided by a licensed medical professional.
- Guests with medical concerns are advised to consult their doctor before participation.
Guest Conduct & Liability
- Personal belongings including phones and cameras are not permitted at the dive site or in the water for personal and animal safety reasons.
- Guests must follow all safety instructions and directions provided by authorized Park representatives.
- Unsafe behavior toward marine animals or failure to follow instructions may result in immediate removal from the expedition and/or the Park without refund or compensation.
- Expedition timings, components, and marine animal participation are subject to operational changes without prior notice.
- If the Park cancels or reschedules the booking due to circumstances not attributable to the guest, only the expedition ticket amount will be refunded. General admission tickets remain non-refundable.
- Participant fitness, qualifications, and suitability are determined solely at the discretion of the Park’s authorized representatives. If deemed unsuitable, only the expedition ticket cost will be refunded.
- Participation in the expedition and entry into marine habitats are entirely at the guest’s own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Park accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damages sustained.
- The Park reserves the right to deny admission or remove participants from the expedition or Park premises at its discretion and without liability.
